Kick off our Summer Reading Challenge and discover some of Arizona's treasures of sight, taste, and smell. Arizona travel writer and author Roger Naylor starts off the morning with a look at the best picturesque roads and hikes in Arizona! Discover more about the state's officially designated scenic and historic roads, paired with some nice hikes and locally owned places to eat and sleep. Since many of these roads venture to the north and east, it’s perfect for making your summer plans to head for the high country. See Naylor's books in our collection here. Books will also be available for sale.
Next, Andrew McCreery of d'Vine Gourmet in Downtown Chandler delves into local drink and food production in the state of Arizona. He will highlight the history behind our wine regions and share insights into wines produced, as well as tips about visiting these wineries. Top off this presentation with a background on, and a sampling of, some of the local Arizona food products that are sold at d'Vine Gourmet.
