Conjunto Oye! is a salsa band that was founded in 2004. Led by trombonist Adam Rundquist, the band plays “Nuyorican” salsa—pulsating, peel-the-paint off the walls, traditional Cuban music brewed from a Puerto Rican strainer. It is one of L.A.’s pre-eminent salsa bands. Attendees are invited to bring lawn chairs and blankets. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.Super DJ Robby
Born in Havana, Cuba, Robert Rodriguez, known as Super DJ Robby, is considered one of the best salsa DJs in Los Angeles. He has performed with artists such as Oscar D’Leon, Los Van Van, Jose Alberto “El Canario”, Marc Anthony, Tito Nieves, and the late greats Celia Cruz and Tito Puente. His talent has also taken him to salsa festivals worldwide, with performances in Dubai, Zurich, Tokyo, Hong Kong, and more.
