Summer Nature Academies | Little Critters For First - Second Graders (Ages 6-8)
Our specialized Summer Nature Academies are a great way to get children off the couch and into nature this summer! We offer immersive, hands-on outdoor experiences with fun weekly themes led by professional educators and naturalists. If your child loves to explore and learn, our academies are the perfect opportunity!
Little Critters is perfect for the animal lover in your life! Participants will meet and help care for the animal ambassadors who live at the nature center. Through hands-on activities and
outdoor exploration, they will also learn about the wildlife of River Bends Park.
Little Critters Dates:
* June 26-28 (9 AM-12 PM) #LITCRIT.01
* July 10-12 (9 AM-12 PM) #LITCRIT.02
Registration begins April 15 for Shelby Township residents and April 22 for nonresidents. $60 per resident, $70 per nonresident.
