Summer Muse Festival holds its second event of its 2025 series on Saturday, August 30, 4-8pm at the Rail River Folk School, Bemidji (MN). The event comes on the heels of the first, colorful and community filled event held July 26. The public is invited to stop by and hangout at the free and inclusive music and creative arts gathering meant to celebrate community and the creative spirit of the season.Featured creatives of the August 30 get-together include Lost Flower Designs (one-of-a-kind jewelry), Mary Turner (array of sewn items), Art by Heather Lynn (art and jewelry), Squidleaf (character art and handmade items), Green Faery Creations (bags and whimsical costume pieces), Diamond (paintings of flora and fauna), and Kai's Creations (earrings for those with a whimsical personal expression). Live music starts at 6 pm with Doyle Turner followed by Bemidji band Foxby. Bemidji Dirty Dough will be set up outside vending delicious, warm, gourmet cookies alongside MAC N the Box with their variety of mac and cheese creations. Folks are invited to explore their own creativity by participating in provided art activities or hitting the dance floor.
Summer Muse Festival is free and open to the public. The mission of the event series is to facilitate an environment for the local community to share and experience creative arts.
