Join us in the Play Lab this summer for outdoor messy sensory play classes your little mess maker will love! Session and drop-in spots are now open for M Street Park. Classes full of irresistibly fun, hands-on activities where they can scoop, squish, splash, dig, dump, mix, fizz and explore in all of the messy ways they love.
Multi-aged classes with infants and toddlers (4 Months-2.5 Years) diving into edible activities like Spaghetti Safari, mashed potato finger painting and colorful water splashing.
Ages 3-5 explore exciting sensory stations making swirling potions, rescuing bears from fizzy erupting volcanoes and popping giant slime bubbles. Activities include simple science experiments as well as using materials that help practice mindfulness.
Benefits of messy play include practicing reasoning and problem-solving skills, support language audition, creativity, fosters independence, builds social skills, encourages independent emotional regulation and even promotes better eating. It’s also so much fun!
