Summer Kayak & Kickback Presented By Sync Seattle & Lace Up Joy

Cost:

• Single Kayak Ticket + Food -$50
• Tandem Kayak Ticket (2 people in one kayak + food for both) -$85
• Kickback Only- $25

🚣‍♀️ Kayak Details:

• Try kayaking! You don’t have to be experienced
• Kayak launch times are at 11 AM and noon. Arrive 30 minutes early for a quick safety review, to sign a waiver, and get a life jacket. Sign up for one of the launch times.
• Kayak location is the Renton Row Center: 1060 Nishiwaki Lane, Renton, WA 98057, parking is free in the nearby parking lot
• You must wear a life jacket while on the water, sign a waiver, and join the Lace Up Joy Slack channel for further safety tips. We will email registrants with a Slack channel link that must be used within 24 hours.
• You may rent a waterproof pouch for your phone for $5 when you arrive, or please feel free to bring your own
• Locker rentals are $5, and may be purchased when you arrive
• Tandem kayaks are weight rated up to 400 lbs, and single kayaks are up to 230 lbs. Please let us know if you have any other questions!
• Leave your valuables and non-waterproof items at home or in your car unless you plan to rent a locker or use a waterproof pouch. Lace Up Joy and Sync Seattle are neither responsible for any lost or damaged items.
• When you arrive, check in with Capree of Lace Up Joy and get some safety tips, check in with an attendant at the door, get your life jacket, and submit a deposit item, such as an ID or keys until you return the kayak
• Attendants will help you into your kayak, from their private dock, and off you go! Return your kayak on time to not incur additional fees.
• You may get a little wet kayaking
• There is no lifeguard on duty

🍗🍔 Kickback Details:

• Location: Cedar River Trail Park Shelter, walking distance from the Kayak Center.
• There are vegetarian food options available
• Come for summer vibes, yard games, food, and a fun community
• Free parking available at the park, but parking spaces can be limited and we encourage carpooling
• The kayaking location is a 3- 5 minute drive from the park
• Directions Turn down N 6th St. then turn right on Nishiwaki Ln - 6th St is side street between two Boeing parking lots. The park shelter is on the left by the playground and bathroom.
