The Kicks Band Summer Jazz Band experience for students in grades 7-12. On July 8-11, and July 29-Aug 1. Registration information at https://fmkicksband.com/summer-jazz-band/Each weekly session is 4 days long, Monday-Thursday from 9-11:30 am at MSUM, Roland Dille Center for the Arts, Moorhead, MN.
No jazz experience is needed. All concert band wind instruments and drum set, piano, bass, and guitar, are accepted. Students may register for all three weeks or one week at a time.
You will perform in a jazz band, go to masterclasses, study jazz improvisation and theory, and have the option to take private lessons—levels for beginning, intermediate, and advanced.
