Big Grove's Summer Jam Concert Series continues with a Saturday show featuring Mosquito Flat 5 🎸 This free concert is hosted on the patio of Big Grove Brewery & Taproom in Iowa City on Saturday, May 18 beginning at 4:00pm.
The Mosquito Flat 5 are: Pete Raine, DC Holmes, Bruce Vander
Schel, Mike Simpson, Jim Clancy, and Ed Ring on sound/lights. Pete Raine is well known in the area as a solo artist and former member of the band “The 100’s”. Bruce, Mike, and Jim were inducted into the Iowa Rock and Music Association Hall of Fame along with the current “Dogs On Skis” Members. DC Holmes is an accomplished musician who plays many instruments, and was a member of the Iowa Hawkeye Marching Band. He currently plays bass for us.
