Join medal-winning JASON AND THE DRAGONAUTS, the first and only all Scout dragon boat racing team in the world at their dragon boat practice sessions AND races to complete requirements for the eagle-rank required merit badges: PERSONAL FITNESS, PERSONAL MANAGEMENT, and CAMPING.

(a) MUST ATTEND ALL LISTED PRACTICE SESSIONS AT CABRILLO BEACH MARINA IN SAN PEDRO FROM 08:30 AM - 10:30 AM.
JUNE: 06/15, 06/29.
JULY: 07/13, 07/20.
AUGUST: 08/03, 08/17, 08/31.
SEPTEMBER: 09/14.
Additional and separate fee of $75.00/scout is due and payable to LA Harbor Dragon Boat Club by 06/15/25.

(b) MUST RACE WITH THE YOUTH / SCOUT TEAM AT LONG BEACH ON SATURDAY JULY 27 AND WITH THE SCOUT TEAM IN SAN DIEGO ON SEPTEMBER 20.

$200.00 COST IS FOR THE FOLLOWING:
1) Merit Badge Sessions after Dragon Boat Practices in San Pedro, and at Dragon Boat Races in LONG BEACH and SAN DIEGO = $0.00.
2) JASON AND THE DRAGONAUTS RACE TEAM SWAG = $65.00
3) Liability Insurance Coverage for 4 months = $35.00.
4) Race Entry Fees of $50/race per paddler = $100.00

(1) SUNDAY PRACTICES ARE WITH LA HARBOR DRAGON BOAT CLUB - YOUTH MEMBERSHIP IS A SEPARATE COST AT $75.00 FOR THE 2025 CALENDAR YEAR DIRECTLY TO LA HARBOR DRAGON BOAT CLUB BY JUNE 29, 2025.
(2) SUNDAY SAN PEDRO PRACTICE DAYS:
08:30 AM - Come in attire that can get wet and sandy to Check In for Dragon Boat Paddling and give your completed Dragonauts Crew 333 Activity Waiver to Merit Badge Counselor ON YOUR FIRST PRACTICE DAY IN JUNE:
10:30 AM - MERIT BADGE SESSION at CABRILLO MARINA PLAZA.

(3) SATURDAY RACE DAYS:
07:00 AM - WEAR your Scout Field Uniform (Class A). Bring Camp Chair, 10 Essentials and YOUR BLUE CARD(S). BRING SHOES AND ATTIRE THAT CAN GET WET AND SANDY. YOU WILL RECEIVE YOUR RACE TEAM SHIRT ON EITHER (A) JULY 20 AT PRACTICE IN SAN PEDRO OR (B) LONG BEACH RACE ON SATURDAY JULY 27.

Dragonauts Crew 333 is the only Scouting America dragon boat racing venturing crew in the world. Founded by EAGLE SCOUTS from 5 different BSA Councils: Western Los Angeles County Council, Greater Los Angeles Area Council, California Inland Empire Council, Long Beach Area Council, and Las Vegas Area Council in 2021.
Dragonauts Crew 333 usually meets on FIRST SUNDAYS AND **SOME ** THIRD SUNDAYS STARTING WITH THE 8:30 AM - 10:15 AM LA Harbor Dragon Boat Club Practice Paddle BEFORE HEADING OUT TO ANOTHER LOCATION somewhere in Southern California.
