Bring the picnic and join us for a dreamy night of live music, friendship, and fun at the infamous Going Home Summer concert series!
This show is located at an amazing garden concert venue in NE Cully/Portland at a private garden sanctuary of over 1/2 acre of urban farmstead.
Lay out on your picnic in the warm summer night and Enjoy the music of two prominent NW songwriters, Robin Jackson Lewis Childs!
Heartfelt and eclectic songwriting, storytelling, bohemian antics, and indie folk twang connect the styles of our songwriters — who will also be joined by a band of Portland musical heavyweights in their right, featuring:

ABOUT ROBIN JACKSON

An award-winning songwriter, teacher, activist, and spirited impresario, Robin Jackson has built on his colorful bohemian upbringing and dedicated himself to creating connection through art and music. For more than a decade with Vagabond Opera and MarchFourth!, he has performed everywhere from Red Rocks to the World Cup, with everyone from Gogol Bordello and Amanda Palmer to The Polish Ambassador. In 2010, Robin founded the Songwriter Soiree, a nationally recognized organization dedicated to nurturing songwriting prowess and creative interdependence. He currently leads his band, the Caravan, playing an eclectic brew of cathartic folk-pop, whimsical Americana, and enigmatic storytelling. He has released two albums as a solo artist, Dust Diaries (2010), Dark Stars (2017), and his third, Silver Linings is slated for 2024, leading to critical acclaim in the US and viral popularity in China.

ABOUT LEWIS CHILDS
Lewis is a songwriter, international performer, educator and recording engineer based in Portland, Oregon. Coming straight form the source, Childs delivers a truly enigmatic and soul-stirring style of song-crafting. His eclectic and diverse musical style is accentuated by his vast vocal range and penchant for storytelling. He sings in many languages and has a diverse set of musical influences that inform his work as a songwriter and producer, notably the music of Brazil. A true troubadour, his music helps to tell the story deep inside all of us. Lewis is the founder of Groundswell Studios.
