I'm looking forward to this craft night! Summer will be upon us and what better way to bring the summer into your home than a beautiful floral jar arrangement. The flowers you will use will be fresh and colourful and placed in a lovely jar. You will be welcomed and guided by the lovely florist Sharon. This is a little something from the lady herself:'Hi, I’m Sharon from Sharon’s flower blooms.
I carry out workshops for adults and children all across the North East.
This workshop will be a wonderful experience for people who would love to be inspired by nature and have a go at creating with seasonal flowers and foliage.
Your finished result will be a gorgeous flower jar for you to take home and keep.
My background about becoming a florist is; two years ago my sister went to Turkey to get some dental work. On arrival at the dental clinic, she became unwell and was rushed to hospital where they discovered she had a brain tumour. We flew out to be with her. The travel insurance declined Lisa’s case and we turned to crowdfunding for help. This is when the florist side of it came in. I worked with my friend who is a florist and it all started from there for me.
Lisa’s passed away in December and me doing my floristry is something I took away from the whole experience.
