This event will be the first event of the 2025 Gauteng Marathon series. Riders will get points by finishing in their respective categories.
Route options available:
75km route - this route is more challenging with about 900m asc. It will follow the 60km route for the first 22km then splits off into Eye of Africa with some additional climbs and amazing single tracks. Great for competitive riders and all those who trained during the holidays. Not ideal for beginners.
60km route - this route is a new addition to the Summer Fast One with about 500m asc. It will follow the 75km route for the first 22km then splits off at Eye of Africa where the 60km wil return without going through Eye of Africa. Great for intermediate and competitive riders. Beginners are welcome but need to be fairly fit.
40km route - This route will be a little more challenging, but still fast and fun. Total ascending for the 40km will be about 350m. Great for beginners to competitive age group riders.
20km route - fast and flat with 120m ascending over new jeep tracks and single tracks. Great for kids and beginner riders.
