Join us at the zoo for awesome summer fun sponsored by ConocoPhillips Alaska on select Sundays this summer! Zoo is open 9am to 8pm, last entry at 7:30pm. Activities range from 12pm-6pm. These days are general admission days. Regular rates and membership use apply for zoo entry. The exception to this is that all Dads have free zoo entry on Father's Day, June 16th.Sunday, June 16th - Father’s Day, Dads FREE ZOO ENTRY
~ 11am-4pm: Antique Auto Mushers of Alaska Car Show
~ 12pm-6pm: Kona Ice and B Street Gumbo mobile trucks
~ Kape Espresso Tayo Coffee Shop and Zoo Gift Shop open
~ 12pm-6pm: Live music, booths, cotton candy for sale
~ 12pm-2pm—Juicy Harps (live from the lawn stage)
~ 4pm-6pm—Tyler Alaska (live from the lawn stage)
~ 1pm-3pm, 4pm-6pm - Petting Zoo open
~ Zoo mascots on the trails for photos
~ Coloring station - Coffee Shop Greenhouse
~ Games like a scavenger hunt from signs, zoo bingo
~ Community partners with booths or activities: Alaska Public Lands Information Center, Ethical Axolotls, Northern Axolotls and The Alaska Club South.
Sunday, July 14th
12pm-6pm: Music and activities will center around the lawn and Coffee Shop Greenhouse. The Kape Espresso Tayo Coffee Shop and Zoo Gift Shop will be open all day.
~ 12pm-6pm: Kona Ice and Salmon Hookup Truck
~ 12pm-2pm - Knock on Wood Marimba Band (live)
~ 4pm-6pm - Ladies of the Pacific Dance Company (live)
~ 1pm-3pm, 4pm-6pm - Petting Zoo open
~ 12pm-6pm - Cotton candy for sale
~ Zoo mascots on the trails
~ Coloring station - Coffee Shop Greenhouse
~ Games like a scavenger hunt from signs, zoo bingo
~ Community partners with booths or activities: Stone Soup Group, Bird TLC, Anchorage Literacy Program, Best Beginnings, Tap Studio, The Workshop, Anchorage Library (tentative), Alaska Public Lands Information Center, Ethical Axolotls, Northern Axolotls and The Alaska Club South.
