Registration is now open for their Summer Discovery Camps where kids aged 5 to 13 will explore the world of science through dissections veterinary science chemistry experiments and simulated surgeries. For kids ages 5-7 we offer a variety of exciting camp options: from playing doctor and constructing casts in The Clinic to exploring the wonders of the brain and senses in The Clinic II and engaging in hands-on chemistry experiments in Mini Chemist there's something for every young scientist. Campers can also discover the secrets of DNA in DNA Discoveries unleash their creativity in Mini iCAN STEM become mini chefs in Mini Chefs and learn about animals and medical tools in Mini Vet.
For kids ages 8-10 we have an exciting range of camp options: from Grossed Out Science where they can learn fascinating and gross facts about their bodies to Camp Neuron exploring the wonders of the brain and Junior Chemist offering hands-on chemistry experiments. There's also Forensic Scientist for aspiring investigators Girls Rock sTEAm Camp empowering girls in science and technology Junior Vet for future veterinarians Kitchen Chemistry combining cooking and science SPIKE Prime Camp for building and coding and Drone Camp to explore the world of drones.
For kids ages 11-13 our camp options: from Mini Medical School I and II offer hands-on experiences in healthcare while Senior Chemist engages curious minds in chemistry experiments. Kitchen Chemistry combines cooking and science SPIKE Prime Camp combines LEGO building and coding and Drone Camp introduces the world of drones. Join us for Senior Vet to explore animal science through dissections and interactions.
The cost to register for The Health Museum’s Summer Discovery Camps ranges from $300.00 per week per child for museum members and $325.00 per week per child for non-members. Before care (7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.) is $50 per week per child. Aftercare (3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.) is $75 per week per child.
