*** All participants must submit the Youth Consent/Emergency Form BEFORE attending any program. The form can be downloaded and emailed ([email protected]) or dropped off at Hitchcock Academy. If you already submitted the form for youth programs in 2024, there is no need to resubmit.

Summer Youth Yoga
Tuesdays | 11am - Noon

This class for ages 11-16 will interactively mix movement with mindfulness and explore the mental and physical benefits of yoga, increasing flexibility through moving, stretching, posing and breathing.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own yoga mat; additional mats will be available.
Instructor Tammy Howe is a certified yoga teacher and has led youth yoga classes in afterschool programs at Burgess where she is a 3rd grade teacher. She wants to share her passion for the practice with youth to help instill habits that will provide lifelong benefits.
Youth Tennis Lessons

Beginner
Grades 4-6 | MWF 9-10am
Grades 7-9 | MWF 10-11am
Intermediate
Grades 4-9 | MWF 11am - Noon
12 lessons, $180

Tennis Instructor Jeffrey Mason grew up taking lessons and playing tennis. He was a 4 year starter at the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts - playing 3rd singles and 2nd doubles. He is a United states Tennis Association (USTA) 4.0 ranked player (unofficial) and has run USTA social leagues since 2022. He currently is a science teacher at Tantasqua Regional High School and is the assistant coach of the Girls Varsity Tennis Team.
