Ecstatic Dance at Hof Jakob in Nature with fire Thursday 27. June 6 - 10 pm
We will have a wonderful evening to dance in Nature at Hof Jakob around the fire with a LIVE DJ Set from DJane Kawoq.
We will start the evening with a short warm up, some playful exercises and than going into the Ecstatic Dance Move ( 2 hours). At the end of the evening we gather around the fire and sing some Medicine Songs.
Ecstatic dance is a form of dance in which the dancers without the need to follow specific steps, abandon themselves to the rhythm and move freely as the music takes them, leading to trance and a feeling of ecstasy. Dancers often feel connected to others, and to their own emotions. The dance serves as a form of meditation, helping people to cope with stress and to attain serenity.

• Ecstatic dance has been practiced throughout human history, including in classical times by the followers of the wine-god Dionysus. In the ancient and widespread practice of shamanism, ecstatic dance and rhythmic drumming were used to alter consciousness in spiritual practices. Ecstatic sacred dances are known also from religious traditions around the world.

She is initiated by them as a Pampa Mesayok; Keeper of the earth.
She is also initiated by Don Oscar Miro-Quesada in the Pachacuti Mesa Tradition.
Since 2012 she is giving Energy Healing Sessions and making group seminars (The Rite of the Womb and Munay-Ki etc.).
She did the Ecstatic Dance Facilitator and DJ Training with UMAYA Center.
Since 2 years she is offering Ecstatic Dance Events at SEZ (Green Yoga), Ecstatic Dance Potsdam and with TransformMusic.
