Summer Community Wellness Retreat - CIC Providence x Aloft Hotel

CIC Providence extends a warm invitation to our 2024 Summer Community Wellness Retreat on Wednesday, July 10th, from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM in collaboration with Aloft Hotel Downtown Providence. Enjoy a restorative morning dedicated to self-care and mindfulness. Feel free to join us for the entire retreat or select sessions that resonate with you. We look forward to sharing this experience with you! This event is free & open to the public! (In case of rain, event will take place on July 24th)

Schedule:
8:30 - 9:15 AM: Yoga
9:15 - 9:45 AM: Extended Savasana Sound Bath
9:45 - 10:00 AM: Break/Breakfast from Plant City and Aloft
10:00 - 10:30 AM: Guided Meditation Session
10:30 - 11:00 AM: Conscious Movement
11:00 - 11:15 AM: Break

Can I keep my phone on me?
We encourage participants to disconnect from their devices and fully be in the present moment. However, we understand that there may be instances where having a phone is necessary. If you need to use your phone, please do so considerately, minimizing disruptions for yourself and others.

Inclusivity for All Levels
This event is designed to be inclusive for participants of varying abilities and experience levels.

What to Wear?
Please wear comfortable clothes that allow for easy movement. As the event will be held outside, make sure to dress appropriately for the weather.

What to Bring?
Please bring your own yoga mat and a water bottle. We will not be providing yoga mats for this event, so if you wish to lay down or participate in the yoga and sound bath sessions, these items are essential.

Parking Information:
Limited metered parking is available in front of the building. Paid parking options include the South Street Landing garage at 330 Eddy Street or the Skysail parking lot at 181 Chestnut Street.
