As the Five Element wheel turns, we transition into the expansiveness and warmth of the season of Fire - the time of year when the sun is at its highest, energy is abundant, and joy is in full bloom. The Fire phase within the Five Element wheel governs the heart and small intestine, responsible for circulation, emotional balance, and joy. To help you align with this vibrant energy, we invite you to join Holly Brocklebank from Innate Being Therapies and Angie Liu from Piniri Wellbeing for a transformative Summer Celebration Fire Element Mini Retreat, where we’ll explore the ancient wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and its connection to the Fire Phase.

In this immersive experience, you’ll learn how to balance the intensity of the summer heat, both physically and emotionally through heart-centred practices that nourish your Shen (spirit) and bring harmony into your life. The Shen - the spirit that resides in the heart - must feel safe to flourish. When our body and mind are grounded and calm, the Shen feels supported, allowing us to open up to joy, abundance and connection. Without this sense of grounding, the Shen may become unsettled, leading to emotional turbulence or restlessness. However, when we take time to root ourselves in practices like Qigong, meditation, mindful movement, we create a stable foundation for the Shen. This balance opens the heart to receive the fullness of summer’s energy, cultivating deep joy and emotional wellbeing.

🔥Heart-opening Qigong: Engage in gentle yet powerful Qigong practices designed to balance the Fire element, and explore how deep meditative movements help to calm your Shen and open your heart and promote a deep sense of peace and joy.
