What: Have you ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes at a museum? If you’re curious about how museums and how exhibitions are designed, join the Rye Historical Society to find out what it takes to become a museum innovator. In this exciting program, become a museum pioneer and delve into the secrets of the museum. Explore our extensive collections and archives, and look behind the scenes at how museums like the Square House use their collections to show history.
For this innovation sensation, learn about what Rye was like during the Revolutionary War, choose some of our objects from our collections, and work together to build your own mini museum exhibition to show to your friends and family!
When: August 19 - 23 (Mon - Fri), 10am- 3pm

Tickets: The price for the week is $375 per child.
