Come Join us for a two-week reading club across four classes at Stable Hands. During this time, campers will take a trip back in history to learn about Pack Horse Librarians. These librarians delivered books to rural and remote communities, particularly in the Appalachian Mountains, during the Great Depression. Learners will explore new books, create fun crafts, read to an equine friend and have “horse time”. Ideal for ages 8-12.When: August 5, 7, 12 and 14
Time: 4pm-6pm
Cost: $120 (includes a canvas bag, class materials and snack)
