Week Two (June 11th-14th): Art in Space & BeyondPre-K through 8th Grade
If you were a robot, what would your art look like? What is the world’s weirdest idea? How will your art shape the future?
Attention Humanoid. Your presence is requested at Create Your World Summer Camp to learn the future of art! This week, we're imagining a world where robots and humans coexist and using it as inspiration to create unique pieces of art.
From drawing futuristic cities to painting robot portraits, we'll use the endless potential of the future as our canvas to create stunning works of art in a variety of mediums. Our campers will discuss inventions, the world, and possibilities of the future, while expressing their own creativity.
At Create Your World Summer Camp, we'll be combining the beauty and versatility of fabrics with the limitless potential of art. Each week a Special Guest Artist will visit us to share their techniques and art within the weekly theme. Camp producer and collage artist Derek Gores will lead some of the prompts in this exciting week full of surreal surprises. Oh, THAT can be art? Get artsy while cooling off with a water activity on Thursday! Then Friday is the big show! Campers will put on an art show to display their water-inspired creations for all to see! Join us for a fun-filled week of exploration, creativity, and endless possibilities!
