We warmly invite you to this year’s Art Initiatives art auction on the 4th October at Roca House. With its international community, Ibiza offers a unique opportunity to engage with a cosmopolitan audience. While the island has now become home to some very prestigious galleries and its neighboring islands to big art houses such as Hauser and Wirth - it is true that the format of a public art auction remains a niche. Art Initiatives enriches Ibiza’s cultural landscape by curating unique contemporary art shows that explore significant global themes and foster cultural dialogue. Through carefully selected exhibitions, we provide insightful explorations into diverse artistic perspectives, effectively bridging local and international communities. Our distinctive auction format further enhances this cultural exchange, offering an engaging platform for discovery, dialogue, and participation, and establishing a vibrant intersection between art appreciation and community engagement.
This is a non-profit event. All proceeds directly benefit both international and local non-profit organisations. This year we support One Fine Day and the Anno’s One Fine Day Arts Centre in Kibera, Nairobi, which empowers children and young adults through art programs and guidance throughout their childhood and young adult life. For the first time we will also be contributing to a local association, AIF Asociación Asperger de Ibiza y Formentera, that supports children with Asperger’s and their families.
