About this Event
We are delighted to be offering our multisport camps again this summer for pupils across Angus which include a free lunch. Strathmore Community Rugby Trust are running these sessions in partnership with Strathmore Cricket Club and are being supported by Angus Council holiday food and fun provision.
w/c 22nd July both organisations will be participating in the Forfar Community Sports Hub camps (visit Angus Alive website for more information).
P1-P7 Multisports Camps
Our popular multisports sessions for primary aged pupils are back!! They are open to residents from across Angus. Participants will be split into age groups and given the chance to have ago at different sports throughout the morning. Loads to do so make sure they bring a drink!

- Dates: 2nd, 9th 16th and 30th July
- Times: Drop off 9.50am - 10am, pick up 12 noon

Strathie Pup’s tasters (2-5 yr olds)
Come and try out an hour of our sessions for kids age 5 and under. This is a great opportunity to help your child develop key skills such as listening and turn taking, all whilst being active and having fun! What’s more, grown-ups get to join in too so it’s a fun activity to do together!

S1-S6 Summer Apprentice
Are you in S2-S6 and want to know what it's like to be one of our coaches? Sign up for this and get hands on experience helping at this years summer camps. Don't worry you'll still get a lunch at the end of it, you'll just have to work for it!
This year we have developed the programme and are offering:
- Pre-camp training on Friday 28th June, 12 noon – 4pm
- SCQF accredited course - Planning Effective Physical Activity Programmes
- Opportunity is open to aged S2 upwards (14yrs – 21yrs)
- Support to find ongoing volunteering opportunities with sports organisations in Forfar
- Free lunch included
Participants will be required to attend the pre-camp training along with at least 3 of the 4 holiday camp days (2nd, 9th 16th and 30th July, 9am – 12.15pm each day). Please note there is a short, written assessment which forms part of the qualification.
Multisports for Grown-Ups!
This summer we are excited to be offering sporting activities for parents/carers at the same time as the holiday camps. The sessions will provide parents/carers the opportunity to grab some ‘me time’ while the kids are occupied. Activities will include walking rugby, walking football, walking netball and walking cricket. Pack lunch is also included!
