Cooking Basics
Students who have completed Grades 1-4
Limit of 6 students per class
5 classes/$100
Students will have the chance to learn about basic kitchen safety and how to use common kitchen tools while exploring new recipes. Math skills will be reinforced through practice with fractions and measurement. In each class, students will have the opportunity to create a recipe from scratch and come home with a picture recipe card to recreate their item at home. Please notify us of any allergies upon registration so appropriate recipes can be selected.

ELA Fundamentals
Students who have completed Grades K-2
Limit of 4 students per class
1:1 Evaluation/$55 and 5 classes/$100
Students will participate in a 1:1 assessment prior to starting the group classes to ensure that learning activities are targeting skills that are on an appropriate instructional level and necessary for growth. Using multisensory instructional strategies that focus on phonics instruction, students will complete fun and interactive lessons that will allow for practice with word study, spelling, site words and repeated readings.

Garden Gnomes
Students who have completed Grades 1-4
Limit of 6 students per class
5 classes/$100
Students will spend time learning about growing their own food through gardening. During our time together, students will explore soil conditions, care for plants, try new types of produce, germinate seeds and identify helpful and harmful garden pests. Students will be bringing home vegetable starters for their home garden to continue their skills.

Creative Creations Art Group
Students who have completed Grades 1-4
Limit of 6 students per class
5 classes/$100
Students can try out different art mediums and show off their creative side in each art class. Students will have the opportunity to complete pre-planned arts and craft projects and also have free reign to get creative with non-traditional art supplies.

Book Club
Students who have completed Grades K-2
Limit of 6 students per class
5 classes/$100
Students will have the chance to use repeated readings to focus on vocabulary and reading comprehension. Using high interest books, students will dig deeper into comprehension by using prediction skills and identifying parts of the story. Book club students will use a variety of fiction and non-fiction reading based on student interest surveys completed during registration.

Brickmasters
Students who have completed Grades 1-4
Limit of 6 students per class
5 classes/$100
Students will be able to work on their own creation and complete weekly challenges using our thousands of Lego bricks. Unfortunately, the legos have to stay here at the end of each session but will be saved in a secure spot for those who want to complete a more extensive project over multiple sessions. Students will be given a challenge or topic for the session and then the creativity can take over.
