About this Event
This introductory class will teach you the basics of improv with a positive, safe, and nurturing approach. You and your fellow classmates will gain confidence and begin to support one another throughout the course. Prior improv experience is NOT required! The course will be taught by Paul Stelzer, a founding member of Hashtag Comedy and a cast member in the Hashtag Improv Show.
The course meets on Wednesday evenings from 7:00pm-9:00pm for a total of six class sessions. Classes will take place in our Hashtag Comedy Theatre (1253 N. High Street). Note. This class will not meet on August 21st (the week between the final class and showcase performance).
Students will perform in an improv showcase after the classes are completed. The showcase for this course will take place August 28th from 8:00pm-9:00pm in our Hashtag Comedy Theatre (1253 N. High Street).
In addition to classes and a showcase, students will also receive a complimentary ticket to a Hashtag Comedy show.
