Join us for a family friendly bike ride to Pub in the Park. Free e-bike demos at Sports Basement before we go!For the second year in a row, we're hosting a family- and beginner-friendly series of casual and fun group rides to Pub in the Park!
What could make for a better Saturday morning than a bike ride with new friends? Ending the ride at Pub in the Park! This four-event series of sunny Saturday morning rides takes place on:
-June 1st, 2024
-July 13th, 2024
-August 3rd, 2024
-September 7th, 2024 We'll start at Redwood City Sports Basement, where from 10:00-11:00 AM, you will be able to take test rides from their fleet of e-bikes! You'll also have access to information about Peninsula Clean Energy's E-bikes for Everyone e-bike rebate program. And by answering PCE's e-bike survey, you'll be entered to win a $25 gift card! The route will be up to 10 miles at an average of 10-11 mph - check out our route here! This ride is appropriate for e-bikes, bikes, tandems, recumbents, trikes, and bikes with trailers. Youth are welcome to join this ride as long as they can ride confidently and safely without training wheels. Stay tuned for the exact route! We'll regroup regularly, with no one left behind. We recommend that all participants bring water, a snack, layers, and sunblock. After the ride, we'll arrive in at Red Morton Park and enjoy Pub in the Park! Please note: there is no planned group ride back, but if you think you'll want some help to get back to Sports Basement, please email [email protected].
