We are excited to offer something different and unique for the more experienced dancer! If you are seeking to go deeper in your understanding and knowledge of salsa dancing, desire to catapult your dance skill to another level or want to jump headfirst into NY Style Salsa, this is the team for you!
This team’s design is to go deep and focuses on instilling and developing a strong salsa social dance foundation that will give you a thorough understanding and ability to execute the multi level skills and techniques you will learn.
NOTE - the following is required to participate
•Must be advanced beginner level and up
-Have clear understanding of salsa timing and
ability to do the salsa basic step, crossbody
lead, right & left turns and open & closed hold
partner connection
— An assessment will be a part of the process
to join
Here are the details!
•10 weeks of intensive style training with two
highly experienced instructors
•Progressive curriculum that builds each week
•Training to develop solid understanding as well
as strong fundamentals, technique and skill in
the following areas:
-leading/following
-musicality
-body movement
-combination building blocks for creation &
variation
-footwork
•Detailed review videos for at home practice
•Understanding of the music and how to apply it
to your dancing
•Playlist for practice and enjoyment
•Private group with unlimited access to
feedback, tips and tricks
Team Training Dates, Time and Fees:
•Class held: Mondays @ 6pm-8pm
•Dates: July 22, 29; August 5, 12, 26; September
9, 16, 23; October 7, 14
•Cost: $400 •• $150 deposit due by July 19
-Remaining balance due by August 20
