Celebrate the harvest with Abundance Farm at our annual Sukkot Harvest Festival. Join us for crafts, hands-on farm activities, music, food, and more. Tickets are available at a sliding scale, and no one will be turned away for lack of funds.Open to all, this family-friendly event is guided by Sukkot’s themes of hospitality, harvest, and connection to the land. Whether you’re familiar with Jewish traditions or not, this celebration is a chance for everyone to gather, give thanks, and experience the warmth of the season. In the spirit of sharing abundance, we invite you to bring a veggie to contribute to our stone soup, a communal stew made over an open fire.
*FAQ:
1. Do I need to be Jewish to attend?
No! We welcome everyone, especially if you've never visited before, to join us in celebrating the abundance of the season and giving gratitude for all the land does for us. It is for anyone who likes music, food, and gathering. We welcome you to observe our sacred traditions, and engage in a way that is meaningful to you.
2. What's Sukkot?
Sukkot is a weeklong Jewish holiday in celebration of the harvest, nature, and hospitality. Among many other traditions, the primary way it is observed is by spending as much time outside as possible, including gathering, eating, and sleeping under a sukkah - a temporary shelter made of natural materials.
3. What should I know before I go?
We will send an email to those who registered helping them to prepare. So don't forget to register! The headcount really helps us.
