Meet the architects and explore the public display of creative sukkahs on view outdoors at the National Building Museum’s west lawn while you learn about Sukkot and participate in an arts workshop, holiday activities, family story time, and a letter-writing campaign in support of eradicating homelessness in our city. Refreshments available for purchase. Presented in collaboration with DC Public Library, Edlavitch DCJCC, PJ Library, Project Create and Sixth & I. Featuring visual artist, Jessica Valoris.
Free. Registration requested. Register and be automatically entered into a drawing for museum swag and four complimentary club tickets (food, drink and parking pass included) for Washington Nationals vs Boston Red Sox on Oct 3.
This event takes place on the Museum’s West Lawn where masks are suggested. If inclement weather forces the program inside the Museum, masks will be required for anyone age 2 and up, regardless of vaccination status.
