Suisun City Rain Garden Workday 2

This public, hands-on installation workshop will create an environmentally resilient garden in front of Suisun City Hall. It will be an opportunity to learn about rainwater capture, water-efficient drip irrigation and how to plant and mulch for a water-wise, sustainable garden that builds healthy soil.

This garden is being installed as part of an effort to demonstrate and share information about how Suisun City can utilize Nature-Based Solutions to bolster our community's climate resilience.

The entirety of the 6th will focus on planting, and as such, we expect a shorter day than our usual installations. We will provide water and light refreshments.

Some tips for the day:

*Wear closed-toe shoes, sun protection, bring gloves and a refillable water bottle

Este taller público de instalación práctica creará un jardín resistente al medio ambiente frente al Ayuntamiento de Suisun. Será una oportunidad para aprender sobre la captación del agua de lluvia, el riego por goteo eficiente y cómo plantar y cubrir con mantillo un jardín sostenible y respetuoso con el agua que construye un suelo sano.
