We are here today to introduce you to a brand new series of events we are kickstarting this fall,Sugar Rush x Rewind Video and Dive presents JOYSTICK!
A monthly underground party series where we celebrate our favorite Japanese video game titles with a laid back group-gaming experience. At every JOYSTICK! event we will select a game or series to be the focus for a full night of activity including a main screen group game, gaming stations throughout the room where you can play various versions/titles from the series, meet other die hard fans, shop vendors, and enter for a chance to win merchandise and artwork from the selected theme of the month!
We are starting off with the smash hit anthology series FINAL FANTASY!!!!!! Final Fantasy night is just around the corner on Thursday, October 2nd, at Rewind Video and Dive!
Final Fantasy is a series very near and dear to the hearts of the Sugar Rush family as it is a major series we bonded over back when we were in junior high! We plan on having every single monitor in the room playing various selections from the series as well as a GROUP GAME being started on the main projector. JOYSTICK! parties will always feature one game that we all as a group take turns building a file on (or host a tournament on depending on the game) as well as raffles and contests throughout the night! The intention is to celebrate these titles as well as get to know other fans in our community so we are focused on experiences that we can participate in altogether <3
