The biggest event in Downtown Sugar Hill is back! The Sugar Rush Arts Festival returns October 17 through 19 for a weekend packed with art, music, and community fun. The celebration kicks off Friday, October 17 at The Bowl with a free concert. Doors open at 7 p.m., followed by Easy Honey at 8 p.m. and Wim Tapley & the Cannons at 9 p.m. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets for a comfortable evening under the stars.On Saturday, October 18, the fun starts early with a 5K Color Run. Registration opens at 7 a.m., and the run begins at 8 a.m. Be sure to register in advance to guarantee your T-shirt. Once the run wraps up, the Sugar Rush Arts Festival opens at 10 a.m. and runs until 6 p.m. This all-day celebration fills Downtown Sugar Hill with more than 100 vendors, a Kid Zone with inflatables, a pumpkin patch, a biergarten, and art in every medium.
The excitement continues on Sunday, October 19, with the festival opening at noon. It’s the perfect time to revisit your favorite vendors or check out the ones you may have missed. You can also cast your final vote for the People’s Choice award in the Juried Art Show at the Sugar Hill Art Gallery. Near The Bowl, gold mining activities will be available, along with a full lineup of live entertainment featuring Fit2Fly Silks, All Stars Performing Arts Academy, animal shows, sword fighting demonstrations, live music, and even a mascot dance-off. The festival wraps up at 5 p.m., but the memories will last long after.
