From your lawn and landscape to your vegetable garden and ornamentals, homeowners must deal with pests and disease. Chemicals can be a solution, but at what cost for people, pets, pollinators, wildlife, and the environment? Join NC Extension Master Gardener, Angela Johnson, in an educational program designed to empower gardeners to create safer, healthier, and more sustainable garden spaces—without relying on harmful synthetic chemicals.

Angela’s passion for nature and volunteer work led her to pursue NC Extension Master Gardener certification in Mecklenburg County in 2018. She transferred to Union County in 2022 where she focuses primarily on educating children and also inspiring anyone interested in supporting natural ecosystems.
