Gone are the days when cross stitch has to be conventional, floral and “ladylike”. Welcome in the era of Subversive Cross Stitch! This is your creative chance to get sassy!You will be guided through the process of creating your own cross stitch work. There will be lots of inspiration for “Cross Stitch” patterns, images and phrases. On this Thursday evening workshop, we will cover: Types of cross stitching fabric and thread, getting started with stitch, techniques for best stitching effect, making your own design, using pre-planned patterns and choice of border and designs.
All materials provided.
We will have a good old “Stitch and Chat” with like-minded crafters and there will be plenty of refreshments.
