About this Event
Needing support navigating secks and intimacy along your sober/curious journey or have questions about secks and substances you're unsure who to ask? Ask Ms. Mac!
Join Sober Secks Educator Ms. Mac, CSE (think Ms. Frizzle meets Ms. Honey) for SUBSTANCE: a supportive container for us to explore the substance of our relationships and our relationship with substances through spectrums of secks & sobriety outside of traditional concepts like AA’s “One Year Rule.”
SUBSTANCE will cover a different theme each month regarding LGBTQ2SIA+ sober/curious dating, intimacy and relationships from a harm reduction lens.
November's theme is: C*M-MMUNITY CARE: Building Intimate Networks in Recovery as we explore how to cultivate intimate connections that align with your values and (re)build community in recovery.
18+ This meeting is FREE to all attendees! Pre-register by clicking "attending" or simply show up to True Colors Recovery on Nov 30. Feel free to bring a friend or share with someone who would benefit from this resource! Masks encouraged and provided.
Wherever you find yourself along your sober/curious journey, you are welcome here. We ask attendees to treat this meeting as a sober space and refrain from substance use during the meeting out of respect for our community.
