About this Event
The Youth Support Team are offering FREE training to support professionals in addressing children and young people's substance misuse issues.
The training will be delivered by practitioners from the specialist substance misuse team.
You may know children and young people who are using substances. In this session we will:
• talk through how you can work with these children to establish what their needs are and what to do next
• run through commonly used substances to support your conversations with these children and young people.
• examine what services are available in Gloucestershire and how to refer
• share where you can access further resources in support of your work.
We have reviewed, streamlined, and updated our training based on feedback received last year. We also have all new sections on:
Cannabis/THC vapes.
New resources on drugs like 2CB and NOS

Dual Diagnosis
