This is a group for recovery from substance abuse, trauma, and mental health. This group is offered weekly, every Friday from 1:00pm-2:00pm. *ACCEPTING COMMERCIAL INSURANCE AND MEDICAID*
The first part of group is dedicated to trauma and mental health education, skills, and/or discussion provided by Jill Popp, LPC, ADS, ATR, and Certified Yoga Instructor. The second part of group consists of trauma-informed beginners level yoga and breathing for recovery, also lead by Jill Popp.
Yoga can encourage self-acceptance, grounding, relaxation, and emotional balance. Yoga practices may also improve sleep, and reduce hyperarousal and chronic pain.
