About this Event
More pertinent now than ever before, filmmaker Lizzie Borden's intersectional masterwork about two feminist pirate radio stations taking direct action against a future totalitarian society continues to resonate. Ten years after a self-described "peaceful" revolution, several women from different backgrounds unite via radical media and art to provoke revolution in an alternate socialist democratic United States. Features cinematography by acclaimed video artist Ed Bowes and an early appearance from director Kathryn Bigelow.
Presented on NTSC VHS. Projected on a vintage 1994 EIKI LC-330 Video Projector.
Doors open at 8:00 PM. Show starts at 8:30 PM.
