Subatlantic is an indie rock band based in the Quad Cities (Iowa/Illinois area). They’re known for a moody, melodic sound that blends elements of post-punk, dream pop, and alternative rock. Their music often features rich instrumentation and introspective lyrics, with influences ranging from 80s new wave to modern indie rock. Their album Villians (2019) and follow-up Say It Again (2023) were both well received in the regional music scene, and they’ve played venues and festivals throughout the Midwest. Subatlantic has a reputation for creating atmospheric live performances that showcase their layered arrangements and thoughtful songwriting.
