Sean Dendere presents 'Mindfulness Embroidery Workshop'
In my 'Mindful Embroidery workshop', I want the participants to leave being able to do two new different stitches and to understand how embroidery can be used as a methodology for a mindful life. Furthermore, it could also just inspire you to take up a new hobby. I was inspired by the fact embroidery was widely used as a form of therapy for WW2 soldiers who were wounded in the war and for their rehabilitation and occupational therapy. The ex-soldiers were instructed to pursue embroidery and redevelop the fine motor skills in their hands. Try to engage in a flow state and have no pre-meditated design in your head.
