Welcome to Study Stories, an exhibition designed to get you thinking about higher education! This free event is for one night only in the stunning new Performing Arts Centre at Monaro High School from 4.30pm to 7.30pm. No reservation needed, just turn up. You might have seen Dom the barber, Emma the mechanic, Sheeba the servo worker, or Anneka the lawyer around town. But did you know they each have a study story?
Throughout the space you will read the study stories of these Cooma locals and more, and get the chance to answer a series of questions. The exhibits are interactive and designed for all ages, so stick stickers, tie string, and get drawing as you think about our town and its future.
And if you are personally interested in studying sometime soon, or want to support your kids or employees to study, you're in luck - our free Common Ground program will be accepting participants on the night.
Grazing platters provided free of charge.
Our university and community partners are also available to answer any questions you have. In attendance with be the University of Canberra, Australian National University, Australian Catholic University, the University of New England, and Cooma TAFE.
