About this Event
Discover and celebrate new work made by artists from the creative community at The New York Public Library's studio40!

Studio40 is a free creative space and recording studio located in the Pasculano Learning Center at NYPL's Stavros Niarchos Foundation Library (SNFL) in midtown Manhattan. Outfitted with state-of-the-art media equipment and software, studio40 is open to the public as part of the Library's free TechConnect programs, which offer no-cost resources, classes, workshops, and events.

Artists and creators from NYPL's studio40 will share their work—either in a completed form or as works-in-progress—as live performances, music, video, podcast excerpts, and a sound and video gallery.

Come discover local up-and-coming NYC artists and be inspired by folks at all stages of their creative careers!

AUDIO/VIDEO RECORDING: Programs may be photographed and recorded by NYPL. Attending this event indicates your consent to being filmed/photographed and your consent to the use of your recorded image for any all purposes of The New York Public Library.

PRESS: Please send all press inquiries (photo, video, interviews, audio-recording, etc) at least 24 hours before the day of the program to Leah Drayton at [email protected].

Please note that professional video recordings are prohibited without expressed consent.

Learn More with NYPL's TechConnect

The New York Public Library's TechConnect program was created to meet an increased demand for technology training and computer education. Our goal is to help people of all ages develop their skills in computers and technology in order to connect with family and friends, advance their careers, and expand their horizons. We offer more than 100 technology classes online and at libraries throughout the Bronx, Manhattan, and Staten Island—all absolutely free.

From learning the basics of how to use a computer to mastering essential computer business programs, there is a class for all students from beginner to advanced, including series classes for those who want more in-depth knowledge. Learn more.

Major support for educational programming is provided by Merryl H. and James S. Tisch.

NYPL TechConnect is made possible thanks to the generous support of Arthur W. Koenig, Apple Education, Accenture, and by NYC Connected Communities, a program of the New York City Office of Technology and Innovation.
