The Las Cruces Museum of Art’s Studio Programs offer a variety of engaging art classes for all ages, providing hands-on learning experiences in painting, ceramics, printmaking, and more. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced artist, our Studio Programs provide the perfect opportunity to explore creativity in a welcoming environment. Kids & Teens Four-Day Classes
This summer, Kids and Teens classes will be offered as 4-day sessions, running Tuesday through Friday throughout June. No classes will be held during the week of Juneteenth (June 17-21). Registration for all weeks of Kids & Teens classes begins April 15 and closes two weeks before the beginning of each session.
* The closing date for classes June 3-6 is May 24.
Classes offered for the first session are Drawing & Painting (ages 6-10), Mixed Media, (ages 6-10), Kids Clay (ages 10-13), Simple Book Making (ages 10-13), and Teen Ceramics (ages 13+).
Adult Classes
Adult classes will be divided into short sessions (3 weeks) and regular sessions (6 weeks) to accommodate the summer break. There will be no classes during the week of Juneteenth (June 17-21) or the week of July 4th (July 1-5).
* All summer adult classes close May 24.
Classes offered for adults are Ceramics III (6 week course), Intro to Weaving & Fiber Arts (6 week course), Ceramics I (6 week course), and Short Oils (3 week course).
