Studio Orient feirer 20 år i egne lokaler og markerer med jubileumsforestilling, fest og workshops!
Vi får besøk fra selveste AZIZA som holder hele fire kurs, og en av Skandinavias danselegender LENA HELT!
På søndagens jubileumsshow gjester flere av Studio Orients nåværende og tidligere instruktører, gjester og andre dansevenner scene i en fargerik og variert festforestilling🥳
JUBILEUMSPROGRAM:
Torsdag 29. mai
17:30-19:30 - LENA - Adaweya koreografi (litt øvet/øvet)
Til minne om en av Egypts store stjerner som nettopp har forlatt oss, har Lena laget en kort morsom koreografi til baladi/saidi-låta “El Helw Wasal”.
Passer for litt øvet til avansert nivå.
Fredag 30. mai
17:00-19:00 - AZIZA - Veil Magic (Litt øvet)
Kom og lær konseptene og hemmelighetene som har gitt Aziza ryktet som en mester i å danse med silkeslør. Aziza vil starte med det grunnleggende om holdning, turns og teknikk og bygger det opp til de vanskeligste triksene!
Felles middag med magedans etter kurs (frivillig)
Lørdag 31. mai
11:00-13:00 - AZIZA - Fluidity and Flow (Åpent nivå)
Hender, armer, positurer og holdning. Kvalitet på bevegelse og overganger knytes sammen for å skape ubestridelig tilstedeværelse og flyt på scenen. Dette er kurset som kan endre dansen din fra god til fantastisk!
13:45-15:45 - AZIZA - Vintage Slør koreografi (Litt øvet)
Ekkoer av amerikansk kabaret stil og tucks og triks i Azizas signatur stil vil fascinere ditt publikum.
16:00-17:30 - HELENE - Roman havasi (Åpent nivå)
Roman havasi er autentisk for Tyrkia og det osmanske riket, med uttrykksfulle gester og armer, kvikk fotarbeid og mye hjerte. Helene gir deg en smakebit på hvordan du får følelsen og kraften til denne positive, sterke stilen med en 9/8-rytme med herlige trinn i en kort kombinasjon.
Søndag 1. juni
12:00-14:00 - AZIZA - Moderne Lyrisk Slør koreografi (Øvet/avansert)
En teatralsk og moderne utforskning av silkeslørmanipulasjon.

IT'S TIME TO CELEBRATE!!
Studio Orient is celebrating it's 20 year anniversary in our beautiful oriental studio and mark the occasion with an anniversary show and workshops!
The one and only AZIZA will be joining the celebration, and she will be teaching four workshops during the weekend, and one of Scandinavias living dancelegends LENA HELT will be joining us too!
At Sunday's anniversary show, several of Studio Orient's current and former instructors, ,students, international guests and other dancefriends will be performing in what will be a colorful ad spectacular show🥳🥳
ANNIVERSARY PROGRAM:
Thursday 29. May
17:30-19:30 - LENA - Adawaya choreography (Int/advanced)
In memory of one of Egypt's great stars who has just left us, Lena has created a short fun choreography to the baladi/saidi song
“El Helw Wasal”.
Suitable for intermediate to advanced level dancers.
Friday 30. May
17:00-19:00 - AZIZA - Veil Magic (Intermediate)
Come and learn the concepts and secrets that have earned Aziza the reputation of a master of dancing with silk veils. Aziza will start with the basics of posture, turns, and technique and build to the trickiest of tricks!
Saturday 31. May
11:00-13:00 - AZIZA - "Fluidity and Flow” (Open level)
Hands, arms, poses, and posture. Quality of movement and transitions all come together to create undeniable presence and flow onstage. This is the workshop that can change your dance from good to amazing!
13:45-15:45 - AZIZA - "Vintage Veil Choreography" (Intermediate)
Echoes of American Cabaret and signature Aziza style tucks, tricks, and releases will mesmerize your audience.
16:00-17:30 - HELENE - Roman havasi (Open level)
Roman havasi is authentic to Turkey and the Ottoman empire, with expressive gestures and arms, quick footwork and allot of heart. Helene gives you a taste of how to get in touch withe feeling and the power of this positive, strong style med a 9/8-rythm with delightful steps in a short combination.
Sunday:
12:00-14:00 - AZIZA - "Modern Lyrical Veil Choreography" (Advanced)
A theatrical and contemporary exploration of silk veil manipulation.
