About this Event
2-day INTENSIVE 10am-5pm each day
Join us for a 2-day studio lighting intensive where you'll learn to use lighting in the studio to create controlled, sophisticated, and well-crafted portraits. Experience our comprehensive bite-size sessions, all packed into one giant meal.
This small group intensive is designed for photographers with solid camera skills who are confident working with manual exposure but lack experience with artificial flash or LED studio lighting. Students will need their own digital camera and portrait lens (85mm or longer).
You'll gain hands-on confidence with lighting equipment, lighting styles, modifier choices, and lighting theory. We'll have access to Profoto products, including the new D3, allowing you to experiment with top-tier equipment.
Participants do not need to have their own lighting equipment. You will get hands-on experience with a variety of simple and affordable studio lights (both LED and flash) and a variety of modifiers.
By the end of this workshop, you'll have the skills and confidence to create stunning studio portraits using artificial lighting. Join us and elevate your photography to the next level!
