Studio and Lighting Workshop - Series of 3 w/ Krishphotovideo

Join our very own Krish Nagar, as he brings his UK wide Lighting workshop home to deliver not 1 but 3, intensive workshops to our fantastic customer base, all taking place in our picturesque shop.

During these sessions, attendees will learn the basics of studio lighting and how you can go about setting up a portable studio, working with a model(s) and the processes of setting lights and taking that all-important shot!

And that is just the beginners course, you will then be invited to the advanced session, where you will begin putting theory and basic practice into action with a model and guidance on what you have learnt so far. We aim for you to come away with a set of images that you can be proud of, but most importantly, the knowledge!

Finally this set of mini sessions will culminate in a Masterclass with Krish where all of the above comes into full effect and you can come away with a wealth of knowledge as well as a full set of images, and a zine from Krish with a whole breakdown of every session.

Tickets will be very limited, with no more than 8 people attending this mini-course.

The price is set at £300 for all 3 sessions (this is at a Carmarthen Cameras exclusive price).

• Intro from Krish and short presentation
• Looking at Lighting and Understanding what you need to start.
• A practical session on light set-up and trigger syncing as well as brand compatibility, flash power and modifiers, Tethering and Light meters.
• A photo shoot with a model trying out simple one-light setups.
• Short round-up and summary, with a breakdown of the next course

• Brief intro and then straight into the workshop, Each person will have the opportunity to test out a more advanced way of using Studio light(s) as we begin to build from one light to 2 lights and then 3, with different modifiers and Reflectors.
• We will touch on the basics of Colour Gels and integrate them into our setups.
• We aim to leave you with a very clear idea of how to use multiple lights in a set-up, and balance and modify them correctly to achieve desired looks.
• Round up at the end and review Images taken by all attendees.

SOMETHING SPECIAL FOR ALL INVOLVED! All you will need to bring with you is a notepad, your camera, A portrait focal length (50mm - 85mm or equivalent zoom lens) and a blank SD Card.
