Day 1:
We’ll depart in the morning for Washington DC, we start with lunch and a visit to George Washington University. There will be an information session followed by a campus walk. After the tour, we will proceed to the National Mall to explore some of the Smithsonian Institutions pending time. As the museum closes, we will head for dinner and after dusk, we’ll embark on an evening tour of the National Monuments – we’ll see them beautifully lit and there will be opportunities to get some cool pictures to share with family, friends, and of course on social media. After the tour, we’ll check into the hotel for the night.
Day 2:
After breakfast, we will head for George Mason University located in Fairfax Virginia. Virginia’s largest public research university. We will do an information session following the campus walk. After the tour, we will head for a visit to George Washington’s Historic Mount Vernon. We will tour the estate with a guide, see some amazing sites, and learn some great history. After the tour, we’ll enjoy lunch in the food court before leaving. Sit down relax and enjoy the ride back home.
Triple and quad rooms will have a maximum of 2 beds for 3 or 4 guests to share
