About this Event
College and graduate students are invited to join us for an evening celebrating . After the Museum closes for the day, explore the work of a living contemporary artist whose practice portrays empathetic portraits of family and community members, icons of politics and music, and sharp social criticism in encounters with racism, policing and American history.
Connect with fellow students while exploring B Side, stop by for an in-gallery conversation with a PhD candidate in the Whitney’s Joan Tisch Teaching Fellow program, and create your own artwork inspired by what you’ve seen. Light refreshments will be provided.
will also be on view.
Registration is required. This event is free for undergraduate and graduate students with Student ID or Whitney Student Membership Card. Additional alumni and community member tickets are available for purchase.
