As tariffs and international trade policies take center stage in the 2024 presidential election, join the Jefferson Literary and Debating Society for a timely debate on the U.S.-China trade war. Students will explore the economic and democratic implications of these policies, debating the prospects of a trade war between the United States and China. An expert panel of UVA faculty is judging to select the debate winners.
