We are honored to welcome Dr. Karen Wolman, a psychologist with expertise in this area, as our guest speaker. Dr. Wolman will share valuable insights and practical strategies to help you manage responsibilities, maintain balance, and find fulfillment amid the pressures of caregiving. The program will be moderated by Jennifer Jacobson who runs the Southwest Jewish Seniors program.
This evening will focus on equipping you with the tools you need to thrive—not just survive—during this complex time. Join us for an evening of learning, connection, and encouragement as we explore how to create a meaningful and sustainable path forward.

Dr. Karen Wolman:
Dr. Karen Wolman, Ph.D., is a licensed psychologist with a private practice since 2001, specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for depression and anxiety. She has a background in geropsychology, behavioral medicine, and neuropsychology. Dr. Wolman has taught at the University of Central Florida and conducted Crisis Incident Stress Management in business settings. She also provides supervision for therapists in training and is passionate about empowering individuals to achieve balance and well-being.
Jennifer Jacobson:
While earning her Masters in Psychology from Queens College, Jennifer concurrently worked as a Tester on the ACTIVE study, the largest study of memory in the over 65 population to date. This is when Jennifer first fell in love with enriching the lives of the elderly. For the last 10 years, Jennifer has worked to bring senior programming to the south side of Orlando. Her latest adventure is to bring a fully dedicated Senior Center to the Rosen JCC. Additionally, Jennifer Jacobson has spent the last 26 years growing a thriving piano education practice, where she has fused her Peabody Conservatory piano upbringing with her Psychology degree. Jennifer lives in Ocoee with her husband, Jason and they have 3 daughters.
